WAHNAM TAIJIQUAN COURSE WITH SIFU EMIKO

Host: Sifu Rama

Comprehensive Wahnam Tai Chi Chuan with Sifu Emiko

Sifu Emiko will give her first Wahnam Tai Chi Chuan course in Latin America, a course to understand and experience the application of chi in Tai Chi Chuan’s movements. This is an opportunity for both beginners and seniors to deepen in one of the most important aspects of the art, whether you are new or experienced, this course will increase your level while you enjoy some great moments in a beautiful place.

What is Wahnam Taijiquan?

In life, for some reason, most of us think that we are happy when we are in static, familiar environment. If we do the same thing every single day, year after year, although we may be physically alive, our spirit would fall into a deep sleep. Ironically, when we are in an unfamiliar environment that is filled with movement, we become suddenly disturbed or unsettled. Most of us resist change. Taijiquan is the art of addressing this constant change and learning to become at peace with constant movement; so much so that our spirit becomes alive and daily living becomes a constant experience of flow and joy. This is Wahnam Taijiquan.

How can Wahnam Taijiquan benefit us in daily life?

The essence of Taijiquan is to move in complete harmony where the mind is not disturbed by movement or change. This principle can be applied even in a confrontational setting. Wahnam Taijiquan enables the practitioner to develop "still mind in harmony of movement" no matter what the situation is, be it returning damaged goods to a store; being struck by another car while driving; taming a wild, drunk, unhappy youth in a parking lot at night; or dealing with the death of a loved one.

What are the benefits of Wahnam Taijiquan?

Some benefits of Wahnam Taijiquan are that it enables the diligent practitioner to:

  • a. Heal her/himself (physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually)
  • b. Maintain above-average vitality for daily living
  • c. Skillfully manage stress so that one's life is enhanced, rather than burdened
  • d. Protect her/his physical, emotional and mental space, as well as protecting her/his life and the lives of others
  • e. Experience genuine joy and interest in daily living

Sifu Emiko Hsuen specialises in the use and benefits of soft internal force. She enjoys teaching at multiple levels to beginners and masters alike. Her primary focus on the joy of understanding and implementing chi through solo and pair training (including combat) for better quality of life.
